| Just like every other Religion, divisions
exist even in Islam. Currently these divisions are very minimal compared
to Christianity which has 22,000 denominations today, which apparently
also started from a minimal number to its present state of affairs. So
every Muslim should make all effort to identify the correct path for himself
/ herself by relying on the two things that had been given to us as a guide
for all times, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed
(peace and blessings be upon him) . In addition to this Allah (swt) had
given us fitrah ( natural inclination towards righteousness ) as well as
Lawwa'ma (self reproaching soul) to guide us.
Those who comprehend the Qur'an well, will note that
Allah (swt) had warned us in the Qur'an itself to avoid divisions.
Kindly read the under mentioned ayats for further reference:-
Surah 42:13
The same religion has He
established for you as that He enjoined on Noah - The which We have
sent by inspiration to thee - And that which we enjoined on Ibrahim (Abraham),
Musa (Moses) and Eesa (Jesus) : Namely, that ye should remain steadfast
in religion and make NO DIVISIONS therein .........
Surah 2:253.
Those messengers We endowed
with gifts, some above others : To some of them Allah spoke; Others He
raised to degrees ( of honor); To Eesa son of Mariam
(Jesus son of Mary) We gave clear (signs), and strengthened
him with the Holy Spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations
would not have fought amongst each other, after clear signs had come to
them. But they chose to wrangle some believing and others rejecting, If
Allah so willed , they would not have fought each other; but Allah
does what He wills.
Surah 15: 89-90
And say : "I am indeed he
that warneth openly and without ambiguity," -
(Of just such wrath) As
we sent down on those who divided (scripture into arbitrary parts),-
Much of these divisions are actually a product of truth
verses evil. The strategy being " divide and rule"
for united the Religion of Truth (Islam) is un defeatable, but what they
fail to perceive is that "Truth" is eternal and does not change, will remain
pure and one can cover it (truth) up but it cannot be destroyed.
The latest policy seems to be to disseminate
disinformation and if you had observed various media, you will note
that this is a policy that is working and causing great strife between
Muslims. So Muslims beware you and your Children have been targeted by
a global campaign to corrupt the very core of your faith by constant bombardment
of dis-information.
